CDR Maguire was the lead consultant and program manager for this nationally-recognized, award-winning project. The unique approach to the project included constructing the IWAY Bridge off site and floating it into place.
The widest and first three-arch bridge in the United States. It was also the first in the world with a skew angle.
CDR Maguire engaged in all aspects of the project including road and bridge design, permitting, right-of-way procurement, geotechnical and marine engineering, and directing the design activities of 12 subconsultants.
