UPCOMING CLOSURES AT CDR HEALTH COVID-19 TESTING & VACCINATION SITES

Most Testing Sites to Close on March 18th and Vaccination Services to End on April 1

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

All Press Inquires to be Directed to:
Steve Vancore, (850) 528-4109

Tallahassee, FL – CDR Health, one of the leading full-service COVID-19 support providers in Florida, announced today that, in light of recent announcements regarding federal funding for COVID-19 running out as early as next week, unless that funding is renewed by congress, the majority of its COVID-19 testing sites across the state will close effective Friday, March 18th. Additionally, all COVID-19 vaccination services will end Friday, April 1st.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, CDR Health has conducted over four million COVID-19 tests and 2.7 million vaccinations—operating dozens of public sites and administering hundreds of thousands of vaccines to underserved communities, including homebound seniors and Assisted Living Facilities. These continued services, since the state of emergency ended in Florida, have been provided largely based on reimbursement available predominately from federal funding for COVID testing, as well as private insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid.  “Federal reimbursement programs for COVID-19 represent the majority of the reimbursement options available to continue to provide these services for free to the public,” said, Tina Vidal-Duart, CDR Heath CEO.  “Unfortunately, without renewed funding, providing free mass testing and vaccination options to the public is not possible.”

“During the past two years, CDR Health has been on the front lines providing testing, vaccinations, and monoclonal antibody treatment services to millions of Floridians,” said Tina Vidal-Duart, CDR Health CEO.  “Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have rapidly adapted to meet these healthcare challenges and serve the public by combating the impact of COVID-19 on our communities, and I am extremely proud of the CDR team and our work to provide testing, vaccination, and monoclonal antibody therapy for COVID-19.”

CDR Health currently operates a testing site in Orange County and monoclonal antibody treatment sites in Orlando, Tallahassee, Bonita Springs, and West Palm Beach. These locations will remain operational until further notice.

CDR Health is one of the leading COVID-19 monoclonal antibody treatment, testing, and vaccination providers on the forefront of the COVID-19 response. Their team has been advising multiple state and local governments since the beginning of the pandemic, providing valuable resources and supplies in response to COVID-19. CDR’s proprietary software, CDR HealthPro™, is designed to collect and keep track of patient data, integrating all patient, county, state, and federal needs into one streamlined portal. CDR Health has provided over 4 million COVID-19 tests, 2.7 million COVID-19 vaccinations, and 150,000 monoclonal antibody treatments.
